Corn-Free | Soy-Free | Non-GMO | Hand-Rendered
Nature’s original cooking fat—pure, creamy, and full of flavor.
Our Kunekune lard is slow-rendered in small batches from the fat of pasture-raised Kunekune pigs, a heritage breed known for their sweet, nutty fat and exceptional marbling. Raised on open pasture, and never fed corn, soy, or GMOs, this is old-fashioned lard the way nature intended. Our Kunekune lard is rendered from 100% pasture-raised pork fat. This traditional cooking fat is perfect for pie crusts and high-heat searing. Unlike store-bought lard, ours is non-GMO and completely soy-free. Kunekune pigs are a heritage breed known for richly marbled fat. Use this nutrient-dense lard in place of seed oils for clean, natural cooking.
Ideal for high-heat cooking: frying, roasting, sautéing
Delicious in baking: pie crusts, biscuits, tortillas, cornbread
Nutrient-rich: contains vitamin D, choline, and healthy monounsaturated fats
Clean flavor: neutral enough for delicate dishes, rich enough for hearty ones
Whether you're going nose-to-tail, keeping it traditional, or just want a better fat for your skillet—this is it.
