Weâre Restocked on Pasture Raised Chicken!
The wait is finally over! After months of having trouble sourcing broiler chicks due to record sales at the hatcheries and everyone being sold out, we are finally restocked on all chicken cuts! We have one more batch going at the end of June as well! Always corn-free, soy-free, non-GMO fed and no antibiotics, hormones, or vaccines! Just. Clean. Meat.
Argyle TX Farmers Market June 14!

Tomorrow is the June farmers market in Argyle! Weâll be there with all of our chicken cuts, plus a TON of eggs! If youâve been waiting for pastured chicken to restock, nowâs your chance! (For real!)
Argyle LOVES their chicken and eggs, and we will likely sell most of what we have in stock, so if you want something, grab it online today or at tomorrowâs market!
Farmers Market Prices always have our locals discount of 15% below delivery prices! You can order online and pick up at the market tomorrow and still receive the discount!
Weâll also be running a BOGO sale for Fatherâs Day at tomorrowâs market! Free Drumsticks, Backs, or Feet with any purchase! No minimums necessary! We have lots leftover from the last batch of chickens and need room in the freezers! Our loss is your gain!
We will NOT be at the 3rd Saturday Market in Sanger in June!

We will be missing the Sanger market June 21st as we will be showing our new bull, Elvis at the National Dexter Cattle Show in Oklahoma!
Weâve been working hard to train him up for the Junior Bull Class, but weâve had a couple of set-backs (and they were totally self-wrought). When we read the show rules, it stated that all bulls must have a nose ring. So we had our vet install a nose ring on Elvis.
That resulted basically having to completely earn his trust over again (the nose ring is extremely painful) and so training him has been a terrible set-back now. I am not a fan of nose rings, and I couldnât believe it was required to show a bull in the show ring. Another breeder pointed out that the rules stated it could be a nose ring or a nose clamp (temporary device the day of the show). Talk about major heartburn⊠thatâs what I get for speed reading the rules.
The show is a week away and we will be leaving on Wednesday next week. That said, all deliveries of your orders need to be in before Tuesday next week if youâd like anything from the online store. Otherwise, deliveries will resume when we return on June 23.
May 2025 Farm Stats

May was one of our biggest months ever as far as farm stats go as well as overall progress to the business. We covered all of our monthly operation costs, plus 39%!
Many of you saw that we now offer extended local delivery as well as nationwide shipping! This was a huge leap for the business with the biggest hurdles being sourcing boxes, insulators, and ice packs for a decent price. The barrier to entry was very big because of the minimum order requirement for supplies, but we'll certainly be well-stocked on supplies for a while!
Our first shipping orders will be going out in June to some friends and family just to test the integrity of the insulators. One delivery will go to the Texas panhandle, and one to Missouri. This is the perfect time to test things out as it's starting to get hot outside. Let's get into this month's stats.

Beef Restock Inbound!

When we get back from the Dexter Show, we will be taking one of our steers to the butcher on June 25th. That means we should be fully restocked on all beef cuts around the 3rd week of July! If youâve followed us for long, you know we genetically test our animals for tenderness (yes, thatâs a thing!) and this steer scored a 6/10 on his genetic test⊠which is good! Roasts and tenderloin/filet mignon will be prime, steaks will be a nice choice cut!
This steer only carried one copy of the marbling gene and he doesnât have a lot of fat cover on him, so his meat will be extra lean (I know a lot of you like that!) If youâve ever wanted to try Dexter beef, the wait is finally over! And trust me when I say IT SELLS FAST! We brought home 400 lbs. of beef from 2 steers last September/October and we were pretty much sold out by November except for ground beef.
We still have about 50 lbs. of ground left from those two steers in stock! (Hey, itâs burger season, yâall!) Kick up that grill-game with some premium grass-fed and grass-finished Ancestral Ground Beef (with heart and liver) from our premium Dexter beef! We even have a couple of discounted BBQ box bundles put together for you on the website for 15-25% off as our thanks for buying in bulk!
