A couple of years ago, I found out through testing at the doctor that I was allergic to chicken. Then my sister gave me some meat from Dos Lobos to try and I had no allergic reaction to it. I can finally eat chicken again.
What a great farm! Fantastic meat, eggs, and poultry. We had a turkey for Thanksgiving and it was the best ever. You can't go wrong with anything they have. And they deliver! I am so blessed to know them!

Our Story
Hi! Welcome to Dos Lobos Ranch (Spanish for Two Wolves)! We're just a couple of foodie rebels and meat snobs who started raising pastured meats because we were tired of a food system that disregards honest farming practices and instead depletes the soil and animals of nutritional content in the name of the almighty dollar (and for meat that doesn't taste all that great, to be honest). So we decided to try something new and different on our own -- we took the gamble and started a farm and didn't know what to expect. We are committed to corn and soy free (our pork and chicken are fed a peanut and milo based feed, milled locally), no antibiotics, no hormones, grass fed, grass finished beef, and pastured raised meat and eggs! Not only were we pleasantly surprised when we tried our first batch of meat, we were absolutely blown away by the flavor, texture, and juiciness!
And then... we were hooked!

Both love superb quality food and set out on a journey to find the best tasting meats that money can buy and then raise it for themselves. The surplus is offered to the public and the demand just keeps growing, and with it, the farm!

Whiskey#1 Ranch HandWhiskey was a rescued Australian Shepherd that we got when we lived in Florida. Upon moving back to Texas, we put him to work, and showed us what just a rescued show-bred Aussie could do!

ShineyGoat CrusherThis young pup comes from well-known working Australian Shepherd breeder Boyd Ranch. This Cowpuncher x Catty pup started showing us just what she could do when she was only 3 months old when we let her practice on baby goats. She's not afraid of grabbing a billy goat by the balls (literally) and telling 'em who is the real boss!
KaziHog's Bane
KaziHog's BaneKazi is also a well-bred working Australian Shepherd pup from Boyd Ranch out of Cowpuncher x Catty. She is a lot softer with livestock than her sister, but she still had the tenacity to earn the title of "Hog's Bane" when she showed us how she handles wayward pigs!
Sadie SageGuard-Girl
Sadie SageGuard-GirlSadie was a rescue Great Pyrenees/Akbash mix that we got early on after we bought the ranch. She's a chicken eater (bad girl!) but drives the coyotes away at night. She comfortably stays in a shady dog run during the day so we can keep providing eggs to our customers!
Tank#1 Porch Princess
Tank#1 Porch PrincessTank is a Rottweiler rescue that we got when we lived in Florida. He's an old man now and spends most of his time asleep on his bed, but he's showed us several times that he takes no trash from ornery goats and pigs and will jump in when we need help. He even helps move chickens into the coop before bed! Good porch princess!
