We are fully restocked on all cuts of pork!

Finally!  We are restocked on Kunekune pork!

Hello, Foodie Rebels!  Great news from your local ranch... we sent 2 hogs to the butcher and are now fully restocked on all pork cuts, PLUS we have a few new cuts to select from!

New Cuts Include:

  1. Pork Ribeye 1” Thick - the king of pork cuts, and our absolute fave!
  2. Hot Breakfast Sausage - kick it up a notch!
  3. Spare Ribs - baby backs have been removed from our selection for now
  4. Smoked Ham Hocks
  5. Whole Smoked Ham - grab this bad-boy for your Easter dinner table!
  6. Raw Pork Belly - these were all pre-ordered, but we’ve added them to the store menu and they will be restocked again in about a month!
  7. Pork Back and Leaf Fat - for those who’ve been asking for fat to render your own lard, we are in stock!

We have some restocking updates for you as well!

  1. Eggs: Current wait on eggs is 1-2 days.
  2. Pork: In stock now!  We will be sending 2 more hogs on April 7th and purchasing our 6th freezer! (WHEW!)
  3. Chicken: If you’ve been following our social media, you already know our broiler chick order kept getting cancelled by the hatchery due to low hatch rates, then they suspended them indefinitely for the year!  We were able to secure an order of chicks for May 6th from another hatchery, but that puts our restock date on chicken to the end of June/beginning of July.
  4. Beef: We have a beef scheduled for the butcher on June 25th, so we plan to be fully restocked on all Dexter beef by mid-July!

New Products Coming Soon!

  • Lard: Raising a lard breed pig such as a Kunekune yields SO MUCH FAT and takes up a lot of freezer space.  Our friends at Happy Harvest Kitchen in Sanger have stepped up to help yet again and will be rendering 40lbs of fat from these hogs into 16oz quart jars for us to list as a value-added product on our website!  Hopefully in the next couple of weeks, we’ll have some available for sale!  Watch our social media page for future stocking announcements!
  • Dos Lobos Cajun Spice Blend: Another item coming soon to our website with the help of Happy Harvest Kitchen is our personal kitchen staple, our own recipe for Cajun seasoning!  Take it from a couple of food snobs like us… this is a pantry item you don’t want to be without!  We are thrilled that we have found someone to help us produce this and get it into your own kitchen!  Stay tuned!

Farmers Market Season has Begun!

We are attending both the Sanger and Argyle (coming April 12th) markets again this year!  If you attend these markets, you can pre-order from our website and select a pick-up location at either of these markets on their respective dates for zero delivery fees for the rest of the market season of 2025!

Some new recipes just dropped from our kitchen!

None of our recipes are random, they’ve all been poison tested in our own kitchen!  These are keepers we’ve found over the years and are thrilled to share them with y’all!

From Social Media

  • Wind Storms and Farms in Texas — some friends of ours down the road at Roman Heritage Farms got hit by the recent wind storms, and lost 100 out of 300 of their broiler chickens.  You won’t hurt my feelings if you purchase from their farm store instead of us in order to help them recover quicker!
  • Silly Bird, Tricks are for Dogs! — a lot of people told me they really liked this cute video of one of our working Aussies moving our emu out of the barn.  The abilities of these dogs never ceases to amaze me, and Kazi has style!  We also lost our female blonde emu in a tragic accident a few weeks ago (and I made sure not to lose any of that valuable emu meat)!  We are looking to find a new mate for our male.  (Our male is the one in the video!)
  • Baby goats, piglets, and the passing of our Rottweiler, Tank - February had a lot of ups for us with lots of cute babies born, and March rolled in and suddenly took one of our bestest boys due to an unbeknownst cancer.  Too soon.  RIP Tanky boy.  Good dog.
